Providing physiotherapy services for patients in East Anglia

Allied Health Professionals Suffolk AHPS

Information On Current AHPS Services

Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, we have had to make changes to the way we deliver our physiotherapy, exercise therapy and back and neck services.

From the 1st June, we will start to return our Physiotherapy services to a “new normal” and will offer patients a choice of how their first appointment is conducted; either a face-to-face or a virtual first appointment.

We understand that despite an improving situation with the vaccine roll out there are still concerns over new variants of the virus. Additionally, vaccination does not provide 100% protection from the virus and there are people who have not been eligible or not taken up the offer of receiving vaccination.

It is possible in many cases for your symptoms to be partially or fully managed via telephone or video consultation. This still remains the safest option during the current pandemic and is an option available to everyone referred to AHP Suffolk should you choose.

If a face-to-face appointment has been arranged for you:
· Wear a face covering when you attend
· Do not attend if you become unwell (Please contact us and cancel your appointment)

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do this via email, at centraladmin@nhs.net.

Thank you for your continued patience at this time.

CEO AHP Suffolk
